How to Make an AI Rap Video From Your Photo
A step-by-step guide to creating an AI rap video: pick a scene, upload your photo, choose vertical or landscape, generate, and post with a licensed sound.
What You Need
- One or two photos — JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB each. Photo 1 is the rapping performer; photo 2 (optional) becomes the second character in the scene.
- One clearly visible adult per photo, front-facing, eyes and jawline visible.
- You must have the right to use the photos — yourself, or someone who agreed.
- A free account. New accounts get welcome credits, and generation draws from your credit balance.
The whole process takes about three minutes: upload, pick a scene, generate.
Step 1: Choose Your Performer
The face in photo 1 becomes the rapper. A clear, front-facing photo with even light gives the most stable, most recognizable result — the AI keeps the real face from your photo, so quality in means quality out. Hair and outfit are used as references too; everyday clothing reads as authentic on camera.
For the Duo Face-off scene, photo 2 matters just as much: it becomes the rival rapper trading bars with you. Similar angles and similar lighting on both photos produce the cleanest exchange.
Step 2: Pick a Scene and Format
Six scenes ship at launch:
- Neon Club — purple and teal lights, a packed floor, hype energy.
- Concert Stage — sweeping spotlights and venue haze; the frontman moment.
- Studio Booth — warm light, a condenser mic, focused flow.
- Street Cipher — a 90s street circle with a boombox.
- Rooftop Lot — dusk skyline, laid-back storytelling.
- Duo Face-off — two rappers, one beat, chest to chest.
Each scene renders in vertical 9:16 (the default, sized for TikTok, Reels and Shorts) and 16:9 for YouTube and previews. If your audience lives in a vertical feed — and for this format it usually does — keep 9:16.
Step 3: Choose Quality and Generate
Every render is a 10-second clip. Resolution is priced in credits:
| Resolution | Credits | | --- | --- | | 480p | 25 | | 720p | 50 | | 1080p | 100 |
Use 480p to test how a scene fits your photo, then re-render the keeper at 1080p. Failed generations return the reserved credits automatically, so experimenting is cheap. Generation usually takes 2–5 minutes; the task list updates itself.
Step 4: Captions and Posting
Every render ships with its own AI-generated rap audio — beat and vocals made for your video, nothing copyrighted. In TikTok or Reels:
- Turn on auto-captions so the punchlines land with the sound off.
- Post as-is — the clip is complete anywhere.
- Prefer a trending sound? Mute the generated track and swap in a platform sound to join that trend's recommendation pool.
A Few Ground Rules
- Only upload photos of adults you have the right to use.
- No public figures, minors, deceptive impersonation, or copyrighted characters.
- You own the output within the law and the rights of the people pictured — don't imply endorsement by any real artist or label.
That's it. One photo, one scene, ten seconds of you rapping. Open the generator and make your first one.
